Once logged in, click on Place an Order and then select the item you would like to purchase. Select a quantity on the left side and fill out the template on the right side. You can manipulate how words wrap by adding additional unneeded spaces between words. If optional unneeded items appear – like a phone extension for example – go back into that text field and hit delete in the text area to get it to disappear.
You can enlarge the proof for better viewing by clicking on VIEW PDF PROOF. When you’re satisfied, click ADD TO CART.
If you are the final approver, you can then either a) add more items to the same cart and hit Check Out or b) proceed directly to Check Out with your single item order.
If you are getting approval from a second party prior to production, from the Check Out page click on the COLLABORATION tab in the upper green bar and send a proof to that person. They will receive an email with the proof and instructions. Once your ‘collaborator’ takes action, you will receive an Approval or Rejection email with instructions.
Once approved, proceed to checkout. You’ll need to enter your delivery/shipping information the first time. Save this in your Purchasing Portal address book, so you’ll only need to enter it once.
If you are placing multiple orders at once that will be approved by a single second person, you may add all of the cards into one cart.
If you are placing multiple orders at once that each need to be approved by their individual recipients, you will want to create a NEW CART for each item. This is done using the dropdown under the ADD TO CART button, and selecting… NEW CART. When you are sending a proof to a ‘collaborator’, you are sharing the contents of the cart that the product is in. So to avoid sending one ‘collaborator’ proofs for multiple business cards, each business card needs to be in its own cart.
